Health Classes — 6-8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays March 3-April 15 at the Danville Center for Better Living, 104 Man O’ War. A CHIP (Complete Health Improvement Program) series of 12 classes. Includes dinner served, cookbooks, recipes, books, two blood draws and more. Registration deadline is Feb. 18. Call (859) 319-0640 or email chipdanville@gmail.com. CHIP is a national, scientifically proven lifestyle intervention program that can prevent, arrest and even reverse health conditions such as diabetes, overweight, high cholesterol, depression, high blood pressure, low energy and insomnia.
Body Recall — 9-10 a.m. Jan. 21-April 19, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 555 E. Lexington Ave. Helps regain mobility, strength, energy and fllexibility. Exercise for all ages. Exercises are done in a chair and with a chair. The exercises are also great for breast cancer recovery, heart patients, diabetics, arthritis, strokes and knee and hip replacements. Special attenton is given to falls and recovery and ways to get up and down from the floor. Instructor is Carolyn Walter, call (859) 548-8203.
Community Sign Language Classes — 6-8 p.m. Mondays, Jan. 28-March 25, at Kerr Hall, Kentucky School for the Deaf. Classes include Beginning ASL I-A, Beginning ASL I-B and Beginning ASL II-A. Classes are subject to cancellation pending a minimum of 15 students enrolled in each class. Cost is $50 per person.
