Blood drive

The Kentucky Blood Center will have a blood drive, Saturday, July 9 from 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the KBC Bloodmobile at 100 Walton Ave. in Danville.

Danville-Boyle County Adult Education Learning Center - Open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 1714 Perryville Road, Danville Square Suites, 112 (next to Big Lots). GED Classes — Held weekly in Stanford, Crab Orchard, McKinney and Waynesburg. Classes also available include adult basic education, computer, workplace skills, English as second language and others. For more information, call (606) 365-9665.

Mercer County Adult Education — Free GED preparation, workplace soft skill training, basic computer training and other instruction based on needs of participant.
