Memory Café — 3-5 p.m. June 11 at Common Grounds, 343 E. High Street, Lexington. The Memory Café is free. Provides an informal setting for caregivers and their loved ones with memory problems to socialize and interact with other families and professionals, while sharing and creating old and new experiences. Educational materials and expertise are provided through an informational table and staff from the Center on Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Center. Hosted by the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging and the Living Arts and Science Center, the event also receives support from the Alzheimer's Association, the Bluegrass Area Agency on Aging and various UK departments.
