Women’s Boot Camp — 7:30-8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning May 8 by McDowell Wellness Center. An orientation will be 7:30 p.m. May 7. Camp is specifically designed to help overweight women get in shape. At the initial class, participants will weigh, check their body-fat percentage and take body measurements. $100 for wellness center members and $125 for non-members. Helps regain mobility, strength, energy and flexibility. Exercise for all ages. Exercises are done in a chair and with a chair and are great for breast cancer recovery, heart patients, diabetics, arthritis, strokes, and knee and hip replacements.
