Women’s retreat
Christ The Head Missionary Church — 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, the church will have its annual women's prayer retreat. Registration and breakfast begin at 9:30 a.m. The public is welcome and everything is free. The guest will be Cheryl Walker of First Gethsemanae Baptist Church, Louisville.
Youth rally
First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut streets — 10 a.m. Saturday, the church will host the South District Youth Explosion/Youth March. The Rev. Darrick Briscoe is the host pastor.

Free meal
Pleasant View Baptist Church, Waynesburg — Everyone is invited to a celebration meal 4:30 p.m. March 31. The free meal is to celebrate the church’s first Operation Inasmuch, a one-day missions blitz during which many different projects will take place in the community.
Free health screening
Pleasant View Baptist Church, Waynesburg — A free health screening of cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, heart rate, body mass index, height, weight and stroke risk score card will be March 31 at the church.
After the screenings are complete, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their results with a licensed health professional. Participants should not eat 12 hours prior to their screening if they would like to have the blood test that gives them a full lipid panel which gives the participant detailed information including HDL, LDL, triglycerides and glucose levels.
The screenings are open to the public for anyone 18 years of age and older. Call (606) 365-3737 for an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome.
