Moreland First Baptist Church — beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, the church will give free miscellaneous items, clothes, toys and a meal. There is no limit on the items attendees may choose. The church is at 501 Community Center Drive.

Prayer retreat
Christ the Head Missionary Church — 8:45 a.m. March 16, the Women’s Fellowship Ministry cordially invites everyone (including our brothers in Christ) to attend the fourth annual prayer retreat. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Guest speaker will be First Lady Gwendolyn J. Griskell from First Baptist Church Georgetown, Georgetown. The first five people to register will receive a free gift. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. The church is at 845 E. Main St.
