Revival

Vision Church of Holiness — 11 a.m. Saturday, the church will have a food sale. The menu will include fish or chicken dinners with baked beans and coleslaw for $7, fish or chicken sandwich for $4, yellow cake with chocolate icing or chocolate cake with chocolate icing for $2. Vacation Bible School clinic

The South District Baptist Association Vacation Bible School Clinic will begin 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at First Baptist Church in Junction City. 

The clinic will help vacation bible school directors to carry out their duties. All VBS directors and workers are urged to attend. Soup and sandwiches will be served.

Other events 

The St. Catharine Motherhouse monthly Contemplative Prayer Day will be 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. April 21. All Christian church denominations are invited. The day includes centering prayer, meditative walks, silence, personal prayer, a presentation on St. Therese of Lisieux by Sr. Mary Otho Ballard, with discussion after the presentation, and a closing ritual and blessing. Christians United for Israel invites the public to two events in the Danville area. Noon Tuesday at Inter County Energy, the group will have a pastors’ luncheon and briefing; and 7 p.m. Tuesday Col. John Somerville, CUFI central regional coordinator, will speak. Somerville, retired from the Marine Corps, has been involved in the Middle East since the early 1970s.
