Here it comes! June 25-28 we will be taking about 100 local youth to Boyle County 4-H Summer Camp at the J.M. Feltner 4-H Camp near London, Ky.
“Fantastic Summer Knights” is the theme this year and activities, costume and decoration contests will highlight all things fantastical, from wizards and genies to fairies and knights.
Full registration for camp is $175 and includes transportation, meals, activities and the full cost of most classes. There are a few classes which require an additional fee, but these are optional.
Half-scholarships are available by completing a scholarship application form included in each camp application and on-line.
Applications for scholarships should be turned in at the same time as the application for camp, along with half the cost of camp ($87.50).
The deadline for applications is June 1, but I highly recommend you turn your application in early, as we expect a more-than-full camp and beds will be filled on a first-come/first-served basis. The complete application, a copy of the young person’s medical card, scholarship application (if applicable), and fee payment must be turned in at the Boyle County Extension Office.
Camp is a wonderful experience for many young people, one they remember and talk about for years to come. We invite your young person to come enjoy “Fantastic Summer Knights” with us, June 25-28!
