Boil water advisory issued for part of Garrard County

Garrard County Water Association has issued a boil water advisory for some of its customers.

The affected regions of Garrard are Ky. 954, Gabbard Road, Copper Creek Road and White Lick Road, which encompasses the southeastern part of the county.

All water intended for human consumption must be boiled at a rolling boil for three minutes to be safe for drinking or food preparation.

The advisory is in effect until further notice.
