Police are investigating the cause of an injury collision early this morning in Danville.
About 12:45 a.m., Danville Police Department responded to a one-vehicle collision off Ky. 33 near the intersection of Silvercreek Drive and Bold Venture Drive.
Police discovered a car had left the roadway at a bridge near the intersection and landed in a creek area at Candlewood subdivsion. The rear of the vehicle was still on the bridge, according to a press release.
The driver of the vehicle, Timothy Turner, 42, of Danville, and passenger, Alvis White, 32, of Burgin, were out of the vehicle when police arrived.
Turner and White were transported by Boyle County Emergency Medical Service to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Both were treated and released, according to hospital spokesman Jeremy Cocanougher.
Boyle County Sheriff’s Department and Kentucky State Police also assisted on the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Danville officers Sam Butler and Kyle Lyons.
