FEBRUARY 26
  • 12:13 a.m., extra patrol is requested due to a lot of traffic in and out of the West Jefferson Avenue neighborhood.
  • 7:14 a.m., two-vehicle accident involving a school bus at West Lexington Avenue and Leonard Court; no children were present.
  • 8:43 a.m., non-injury accident on Hustonville Road.
  • 12:48 p.m., report of a hit-and-run accident near Sonic; the fleeing vehicle is a maroon SUV.
  • 2:10 p.m., a female is threatening suicide at Shakertown Road residence; 3:08 p.m., female is out of control; officer out with subject and commissioner contacted.
  • 5:23 p.m., report of a verbal altercation in progress at Madison Avenue residence; trouble settled.
  • 7:03 p.m., report of a residence on West Lexington Avenue burglarized during the weekend; there is also a broken window.
  • 7:42 p.m., male caller advised he is receiving harassing text messages from a female in Garrard County.
  • 10:12 p.m., caller on Graham Road believes her neighbor is disoriented and banging on her front door; assistance given.
  • 10:52 p.m., there is a disturbance in progress between two males at a High Street residence; subjects gone upon officers’ arrival.
