Danville police are looking a man considered armed and dangerous who was allegedly involved in a strongarm robbery Friday.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Marcus Beasley, 20, of Danville, after he and another man allegedly used force to take the wallet of Joshua D, Willoughby and threatened to harm Willoughby if he reported the incident.
Willoughby told police that he met with two men Friday afternoon and they planned to go together so Willoughby could purchase a TV from another individual. Upon arriving at the location, one of the men grabbed Willoughby and put him in a choke hold while the other took his wallet containing an unspecified amount of cash.
The robbers were later identified as Beasley and Adrian J. Bates, 21, of Danville and arrest warrants for second-degree robbery were issued. Bates was later picked up during a traffic stop but police have not been able to locate Beasley.
Beasley is described as a black male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown eyes, close-cropped hair and a slight goatee, police said.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Beasley is asked to contact the Danville Police Department at (859)238-1220.
