SAINT MARY — Kentucky State Police are searching for a Middlesboro man who walked away from the Marion Adjustment Center in Saint Mary at 1:29 a.m. Tuesday.

George Wesley Upton, 33, was serving a 10 year sentence for first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer and first-degree fleeing and evading.

Upton is a 5 foot 11 inch, 173 pound, white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on his back, chest, neck and both arms. 

He may be driving a blue and silver 1993 GMC Sierra pickup, Kentucky license plate number 419-GAE. The truck was reported stolen from 100 Countryside Estates in Lebanon on Wednesday, May 30.
