Danville police said a pedestrian was slightly injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing a downtown street Monday morning.
Bennie Baker, 46, of Crab Orchard was crossing Main Street in the crosswalk at Third and Main St. with the walk signal about 10:15 a.m. when he was struck by a black Chevrolet truck driven by Barry Best, 47, of Danville, who was turning left.
Baker was treated by Boyle County Emergency Medical Service at the scene before being transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
No charges were filed.
