Bluegrass Ultra-Transit Service (BUS) Program, the transportation arm of the Bluegrass Community Action, will provide free shuttle service 9 a.m. (first pickup) until midnight (last drop-off) on Thursday, Oct. 11 for activities surrounding the vice presidential debate at Centre College.
Two shuttles - a Red Line and Blue Line - will run continuously throughout the day. Pickup points will be near the First Baptist church on U.S. 127 for the Red Line and near the First Christian Church on Lexington Avenue for the Blue Line.
The drop-off site will be near the Corner of Fourth Street and Main Street close to the Boyle County Courthouse.
All shuttles are handicapped accessible with wheel-chair lifts. All shuttles have seats for 10, plus wheel-chair accommodations for two passengers on each bus.
All current clients of the BUS are encouraged to cancel or move any existing medical appointments set for Thursday. The DanTran bus service for Danville will suspend its normal route Thursday only.
