Three men were arrested for drug possession after a traffic stop Saturday night in Junction City, police said.
About 10:10 p.m., a Danville Police Department K9 unit detected powder cocaine and marijuana in a vehicle driven by Blake Lopez, 19, of Danville, police said.
Danville officers, Boyle County deputy sheriffs and Kentucky State Police troopers said they found drugs on two of Lopez’s passengers. Quinterious “Da’Quan” Collins was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphrenalia and public intoxication. As of this morning, Collins had bonded out of custody.
Trent O. Lewis, 18, of Lexington is being held in Boyle County Detention Center on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of drug paraphrenalia. His release requires a $5,000 bond.
Lopez is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of marijuana and several traffic offenses, including no insurance. His release from Boyle County Detention Center requires a $600 bond.
