Danville police have arrested three men in connection with a Saturday burglary and hope to arrest a fourth suspect soon.
Clifton Yates-Bryant, 18, of Bardstown, Brandon L. Warren, 25, of Junction City and a juvenile male were all arrested for allegedly burglarizing an Ashford Drive apartment, police said.
The trio joined by a fourth suspect purportedly broke into the occupied apartment about 4:30 p.m. Saturday and stole a wallet with cash in it. The residents hid upstairs during the burglary and did not confront the suspects, Interim Police Chief Tony Gray said. When law enforcement arrived, the suspects fled.
The victims as well as neighbors provided police with extensive descriptions of the suspects, also alleging that one had a small caliber handgun, according to Gray. The victims as well as neighbors knew at least one of the suspects before the burglary, which helped officers tremendously with their investigation, Gray said.
Police soon apprehended Yates-Bryant and the juvenile suspect. Additional information led to the arrest of Warren later Saturday. Police are still looking for the fourth suspect.
As of this morning, Yates-Bryant and Warren were both in the Boyle County Detention Center on charges of first-degree burglary. Each man is being held in lieu of a $25,000 cash bond.
