A two-vehicle wreck on the Danville bypass injured three people Monday night, police said.
About 7:50 p.m., Heather Price, 19, of Harrodsburg, was driving a 1989 Jeep Cherokee westbound on the bypass near Skywatch Drive and did not stop at a red light, according to police. Price’s vehicle struck a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Jessica Sapp, 32, of Danville.
Both drivers along with Tiffany Abrams, 18, of Harrodsburg, a passenger in Price’s Jeep, were treated at the scene by Boyle County paramedics and Danville firefighters. Abrams was taken by ambulance to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for treatment of unknown injuries. Further information about her condition was not available at press time.
Officials closed all westbound lanes of the bypass at Skywatch Drive for about an hour while emergency crews cleared the scene.
