An early morning raid on a Danville residence led to the arrest of seven people on drug trafficking charges today.
Boyle County deputies, Danville officers and Kentucky State Police appeared at 432 Russell Street about 1:30 a.m. today to serve an arrest warrant as part of a lengthy drug investigation. The target of the warrant, a woman who was not identified, attempted to flee and officers chased her through the residence, leading to six additional arrests, Sheriff Marty Elliott said.
Cocaine, marijuana, pills and drug paraphernalia were seized at the residence, police said.
The seven people arrested, all Danville residents, each were charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Those arrested were Lorrie S. Johnson, 36; Gary S. Wilson, 38; Ryan T. Baughman, 20; Stephanie Roth, 30; Gregory Stallworth, 20; Landon D. Ford, 18; and Vincent J. Napier, 45.
They are being held without bond this morning at the Boyle County Detention Center pending arraignment.
Deputies Chris Stratton and Al Isaacs are leading the investigation.
