Danville Police blotter for April 6-8

APRIL 6

8:52 a.m., two vehicle, non-injury accident at Perryville Road and the bypass.

9:25 a.m., report from Go Chevrolet of property crime that occurred overnight; assistance given.

9:40 a.m., two-vehicle accident on Perryville Road and Ben-Ali Drive; a John Deere tractor has rear-ended a Mercedes SUV and the road is blocked; assistance given.

11:32 a.m., driver in a red pickup truck has struck a utility pole on North Maple Avenue; KU notified.

11:49 a.m., an elderly female cannot get in and out of her residence because of vehicles parked there and subjects are dealing drugs out of their vehicles.

12:33 p.m., a male was delivering papers at Parkside East Apartments and a female in the residence threatened him with her dogs.

1:44 p.m., report of gas or oil in the road on Main Street at the Centre College crosswalk; several cars have slid through the light; fire department is requesting sand or gravel from the state highway department.

3:17 p.m., two-vehicle non-injury accident on Hustonville Road.

8:11 p.m., officer has witnessed a subject driving with a suspended driver's license; officer says the subject left the vehicle in a parking lot and fled on foot through Bellevue Cemetery; arrest made.

10:42 p.m., a vehicle is stuck inside the city parking garage; assistance given.

11:36 p.m., vehicle enforcement on Daniel Drive; officer says both subjects said they were in a verbal argument and not a physical altercation; they are heading back to Lincoln County and the female is going to make the male move his stuff out.

 

APRIL 7

2:47 a.m., caller from Super 8 Motel wants to speak to an officer about receiving threatening phone calls from an intoxicated female.

2:49 a.m., a male was just assaulted at Fifth Street and Lexington Avenue; he was struck in the face and is now unconscious; assistance given.

2:51 a.m., report of a domestic disturbance in progress at apartments on West Broadway; unable to locate.

3:49 a.m., a 47-year-old male has been bitten in the face by a dog on Chestnut Street.
