Danville police blotter for April 9

APRIL 9

3:29 a.m., extra patrol on Saddle Ridge Circle due to an open garage.

4:05 a.m., extra patrol on Lannock Place due to an open garage door.

8:42 a.m., report of criminal mischief and scratches to caller's car window on Affirmed Drive.

11:12 a.m., a vehicle lost a load of tree limbs on the viaduct and state highway department has been notified.

11:22 a.m., report that a suspicious male walking a small dog was seen going around the back of America's Mattress building trying to get in.

12:10 p.m., adult female shoplifter is in custody at Kroger; she has two e-Warrants; arrest made.

1:05 p.m., caller has chemical sensitivity disorder and pest control has just sprayed this neighbor's apartment on Madison Avenue.

1:50 p.m., report of two-vehicle non-injury accident at Lowe's.

2:23 p.m., report that metal has fallen off a truck bed on Stanford Avenue and has hit several cars.

2:47 p.m., caller is advising his stolen property is at a pawn shop; a report is being filed in Garrard County.

3:05 p.m., several juveniles are riding skateboards in the back parking lot of the Presbyterian Church; unable to locate.

3:06 p.m., there is a suspicious substance that came in through a jail inmate's mail that may be narcotics.

3:13 p.m., report of three-vehicle accident on Hustonville Road.

3:23 p.m., caller wants to speak to an officer about problems with drivers not stopping at a stop sign on West Erskine Drive.

3:39 p.m., someone has struck caller's vehicle within the last two hours in Big Lot's parking lot.

4:38 p.m., report of a small child who has been left in a vehicle parked on North Fourth Street; the child was fine, the vehicle was running with the air conditioner on, and the father was only gone about five minutes.

5:14 p.m., complaint that black gravel is in the road at Stanford Avenue and Gose Pike; state highway department notified.
