JUNCTION¿CITY — Jacob Lewis "Jake" Watson III, 46, of Danville, died Thursday at his residence from an apparent heart attack.  

Born Jan. 7, 1966, in Hollywood, Florida, he was the son of Ruth Dixon Watson and the late Jake Irvin Watson II.  A 1984 graduate of Danville High School, Jake earned his bachelor’s degree in linguistics and French at the University of Kentucky. He worked in retail management for 15 years and studied naturopathy and holistic and traditional medicine. In 2003, he was ordained by the Universal Life Church and in 2005, he earned his Doctorate of Divinity degree from the Universal Life Church.  Jake has published two books he wrote, "The Initiations of the Aquarian Masters" in 2006 and "The Book of Aquaria" in 2011, and he edited "The Holy Aquarian Gospel" in 2010.  Jake was self-employed as a Mitigation Specialist and Criminal Defense Investigator and was the minister of the Aquarian Christine Church, Universal.

In addition to his mother, Ruth Dixon Watson, survivors include his sister, Lesa Watson and her husband Robert Taylor of Danville; two brothers, Douglass Austin Watson and his wife Susan of Cumming, Ga., and Stewart David Watson and his wife Diane of Ocala, Fla.; his nieces and nephews, Todd Watson Bertani (Pam), Amy Watson Snow (David Jacoby), Austin Watson (Bethany), Heather Yerdon (George), Michelle Hudson (Scott) and Stewart David Watson Aaron (Tiffany); several cousins, including Amy Dunham, Beth Biller, Bobbie Ann Lombard, Kelli Ann Davis and John Rader; and several great-nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday evening at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. The Rev. Todd Watson Bertani will officiate.
