PERRYVILLE — Wanda Lee O’Bryan Cooper, 77, of Louisville, formerly of Boyle County, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Louisville. She was the widow of Hugh Cooper Sr.

Born Dec. 27, 1934, in Louisville, she was a daughter of the late John and Musa Belle Grimes O’Bryan.

Wanda was a graduate of the University of Louisville nursing program. She had been a registered nurse for James B. Haggin Hospital and Northpoint Training Center. She also was a member of Salt River Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (Richard) McCart of Indiana, Janet Lynn Cooper of Georgia, and Elizabeth Irene Cooper of Virginia; a son, Hugh Everett Cooper of Perryville; two sisters, Vivian Marie Morgan of Indiana, and Sylvia Louise Casey of Virginia; two brothers, John Leo O’Bryan II of Arizona, and John Daniel Wibble of Indiana; and two grandchildren, Lesley Marie Cooper and Nicholas Eugene McCart.

Services for Wanda will be 4 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Wilder Funeral Home by the Rev. David Evans. Burial will be noon Friday, May 25, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Lexington.

Visiting hours will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, and after noon Thursday until time of service at the funeral home.
