There is a burn ban in effect in Boyle County until further notice due to continued dry weather.
The Boyle County Fire Department will not issue any controlled burn permits until sufficient rain changes the conditions.

Okay! So, how does this affect celebrating the 4th of July with fireworks! Logically, one would conclude it's not happening! However, this is Danville, and stranger things have happened!
