LIBERTY — Charles Leon Hines, 70, of Pee Dee Creek Road, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012.
Born Feb. 17, 1942, in Casey County, Ky., he was a son of the late Charles William and Hazel Byrd Hines. He was a timber cutter.
Survivors include his wife, Gussie Cox Hines; sons, James Leon Hines and Brian Adam Hines; a daughter, Sarah Allen; stepsons, Robert Griffith and Paul Cox; a brother, J.C. Hines; a sister, Helen Ponder; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Leon Hines and Charles William Hines.
Private burial will be held at South Fork Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
