LIBERTY — Sammy Murphy, 54, of Liberty, died Friday.
Born Nov. 6, 1953, in¿Versailles, Ky., he was a son of Mable Wilson Murphy and the late James Murphy.
Survivors include his wife,¿Tina Wilson Murphy; a daughter, Heather Grider of Lawrenceburg; a son, Benjamin Murphy of Frankfort; six sisters, Ruby Smith and Norma Kincaid of Lawrenceburg, Martha Murphy and Ida Southerland of Versailles, Ethel Lawson of Salvisa, and Rebecca Florian of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Johnnie Murphy of Lawrenceburg and Jimmie Murphy of Georgetown; and one granddaughter, Kaitlynn Cline.
A sister, Elsie Florian, preceded him in death.
No funeral services will be held.
