LANCASTER — James E. Doram, 79, of Lancaster, died Sunday.
Born in Fayette County, he was a son of the late Alphonzo Doram and Ann Smith Doram. He owned and operated Doram Plastering for 60 years.
Survivors include his wife, Johnnie; a daughter, Cheri Smith (Benjamin); sisters, Leoa Jackson and Yvonne Weathers, both of Lexington, Georgia Ray and Donna Wilhite, both of Michigan, Victoria Perkins of Danville and Joanne Smith of Louisville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenna Sleet.
Services will be noon¿Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home.
