LANCASTER — Melvin Begley, 91, died Monday, June 11, 2012. He was a son of the late Hiram and Sophia Hopkins Begley, and was predeceased by his wife, Magdalene Begley.
Melvin was a lifetime farmer, a member of the Odd Fellows of Lancaster and a member of Hyattsville Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons Ralph Begley of Tennessee and Louis Thomas Begley of Lancaster.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Durham officiating. Burial will be in the Manse Cemetery in Paint Lick, Ky.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday.
