LANCASTER — Seven board of director positions, including vice president, secretary, treasurer, three directors at large and an executive director position will be up for nominations for the new triennium of 2013-2015 for Central Kentucky Regional Humane Society.
Ballots will be presented Nov. 6, and elections will be Dec. 4.
Anyone interested in volunteering in one of the leadership roles for the all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill shelter can nominate himself or make a referral.
Interested parties should be at least 21 years of age, self-motivated, have strong leadership skills in working with the public and sheltering animals, and be current members of the organization.
Persons interested in the executive director position should be skilled in grant writing; coordination of community-based services, and be knowledgeable in best practices in no-kill methodologies.
The positions are strictly volunteer with no salaries.
