Civil War Displays at the Library: Come look at the Lincoln Museums To Go display provided by the Kentucky Historical Society (KHS). In addition there are several private Civil War collections on display and items on loan from the McDowell House. Bibliographies for adults and children which list Lincoln books available at the library are provided.

Third Thursday Book Club: Book discussions are held at 10 a.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month and everyone from teenagers to seniors are encouraged to come. Discussion books are available at the Circulation Desk a month in advance of the discussion. October’s, to be discussed Oct. 18, is “The Bluegrass Conspiracy” by Sally Denton. This book can be picked up from the circulation desk. Copies are limited.
