Danville Police blotter for Feb. 15-17

FEBRUARY 15

2:17 a.m., arrest made at Speedway.

3:51 a.m., officer out with a subject walking on East Lexington Avenue near Parkview.

8:05 a.m., person is locked out of her residence on Longview Drive and is requesting officer's assistance in getting inside.

10:51 a.m., report of a verbal domestic altercation in progress at Fox Harbor Drive residence; female disconnected from 911 twice; upon call back the female said the male had left in a red pickup truck; no action needed.

11:04 a.m., management at Best Western wants to speak to an officer about a female whose stay expired about noon yesterday and she has been sleeping in the lobby of the business since then.

1:35 p.m., caller wants to speak to an officer about her son kicking her dog during a verbal altercation; he has left the Benedict Drive residence at this time.

2:32 p.m., social services are at a residence and only a child has looked out the window.

3:10 p.m., a male appears to be under the influence of intoxicants in vehicle parked in a lot on Daniel Drive and there is a 4-year-old child in the vehicle; unable to locate.

3:13 p.m., possible illegal burn at Walnut Street and Hayden; assistance given.

3:38 p.m., social services wants to speak to an officer about a hostile parent; assistance given.

3:41 p.m., two-vehicle accident at Fourth and High streets.

6:09 p.m., two-vehicle accident on Hustonville Road.

7:45 p.m., report of a male tried to grab a female student on Centre College campus and told her to go with him; she was able to get back to her room and he was last seen walking toward Speedway; unable to locate subject.

11:40 p.m., vehicle stop on Jane Trail; subject failed to maintain insurance and registration plates were cancelled; arrest made.

11:41 p.m., two vehicles parked on Fox Run Trail were broken into and both were unlocked.
