Danville Police blotter for March 16-18

MARCH 16

2:18 a.m., caller is requesting an officer to walk through Norton Centre for the Arts with them due to a back door that appears to be propped open.

2:53 p.m., possible attempted burglary in progress at Lisa Avenue residence.

3:03 a.m., vehicle has been stopped at Speedway for owner's failure to maintain insurance; arrest made.

4:51 a.m., report of a possible burglary in progress at Gator Club.

11:28 a.m., report of criminal mischief to an outbuilding on Alexander Drive.

12:17 p.m., caller from motel is reporting that a Kindle was stolen from a room overnight by housekeeping.

12:46 p.m., arrest made at Taco Bell.

5:24 p.m., a female has attempted suicide by crushing and snorting 25 depression pills; she is conscious and breathing; assistance given.

6:02 p.m., vehicle was fleeing officer at Lexington Avenue and Kentucky Avenue; arrest made.

8:05 p.m., complaint that residents are intentionally being loud and disruptive at Meadow Run Apartments; this is an ongoing problem; assistance given.

 

MARCH 17

 

12:02 a.m., owner of Carbon Club advised that a male attempted to enter the business with an open bottle of liquor; when asked to leave, the male ran through the club and is now sitting out front causing a disturbance; subject got a ride with a taxi; no problems were caused.

2:02 a.m., vehicle stop at Hustonville Road and Second Street; driver was en route to the emergency room; officer will be following.

2:25 a.m., caller from Balasa Drive is requesting extra patrol through the night due to a suspicious male knocking on their door; caller advised they just moved there in January and believes the subject is looking for someone who used to live there; assistance given.

3:37 a.m., caller has been assaulted by his sister's boyfriend at Hardee's in Junction City; the boyfriend is armed with a pistol; caller advised that the suspect is now following him; assistance given.
