Ephraim McDowell Health’s HealthRewards program is planning trips for 2013-14 and invites individuals to participate. A HealthRewards membership is not required to participate.
The following trips are planned:
Heart of the South, Oct. 20-27
The eight-day trip includes seven breakfasts and four dinners. Highlights include a journey through New Orleans, Natchez and Lafayette.
Hawaii Cruise, Nov. 9-16
The eight-day trip includes round-trip airfare on American Airlines from Lexington to Honolulu, ground transportation from hotel to pier and pier to airport. Highlights include a one-night stay in the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel (partial ocean view, breakfast included) and cruising on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America (ocean-view cabin). The cruise will visit Maui, the Big Island and Kauai.
Northern National Parks, May 16-23, 2014
The eight-day trip includes seven breakfasts and four dinners. Highlights include visiting Salt Lake City, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, Old Faithful, Grand Teton National Park and Park City.
Individuals interested are invited to a travel preview 2 p.m. March 21 in the Breckenridge Room at Gilcher Building. For more information, call Theresa Conder at (859) 239-1231. No reservations are required to attend the preview.
HealthRewards is a membership-based program for individuals age 50 and older or those of any age who are disabled as well as employees of Ephraim McDowell Health.
The annual cost is $20 for singles or $35 for singles plus one. Discounted rates for members of the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary are $10 annually for singles or $27.50 annually for a single plus one when the second member is not an auxiliary member.
