Garrard man indicted on pornography charges

LANCASTER — A Lancaster man has been indicted by a Garrard County grand jury on nine counts of possessing child pornography.

Frederick Grant Stanford, 45, of 178 Sylvan Way, is charged with having nine videos or pictures depicting a sexual performance by a minor on Sept. 14, 2010, according to the indictment.

Garrard County Deputy James Napier testified before the grand jury.

Others indicted were:

  • Jay D. Dean, 35, of 149 Dora Drive, Miranda K. Major, 32, of Somerset, and Randall F. Rice, 40, and Angela K. Burgin, 41, both of Somerset, each were charged with two counts of conspiracy to traffic in a controlled substance for allegely working together to sell oxycodone and Xanax April 19. Kentucky State Police Detective Keith Addison testified before the grand jury.
