Harrodsburg police news for Feb. 10

Firearms reported stolen Tuesday 

HARRODSBURG — A 57-year-old Park Avenue resident reported the theft of two firearms from his home, according to Harrodsburg police.

On Tuesday, the man reported two .22 caliber pistols valued at $700 were stolen from his residence within the past few days. He could not provide any further details to support his claim and authorities do not believe someone burglarized the home to steal the weapons, according to the police report.

 

iPhone missing from locker room 

HARRODSBURG — The mother of a Mercer High School student claims an unknown person stole her son’s iPhone from a school locker room, according to Harrodsburg police. The theft happened on or about Feb. 3 but the mother did not notify police until Feb. 6, according to the police report.
