Mercer grand jury hands up indictments

HARRODSBURG — The following people were indicted recently by a Mercer County grand jury:

  • Taylor Elliott, 24, 905 Oatfield Road, six counts of possession of a forged instrument for allegedly having six forged checks drawn on Whitaker Bank in April. Bond was set at $15,000. Harrodsburg officer Jason Peyton testified before the grand jury.
  • Dennis R. Sparrow Jr., 32, 654 Newby Lane, criminal mischief, fleeing police on foot and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly damaging a Kentucky State Police vehicle while being taken into custody July 17. Bond was set at $5,000. Trooper Morris Farris testified.
  • Kenneth Cook, 34, 1555 Battlefield Road, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fleeing police on foot July 25. Bond was set at $10,000. Harrodsburg officer Jay Eldridge testified.
  • Justin Centers, 32, 938 Central Pike, first-degree burglary and theft more than $500 for allegedly being armed while breaking into Pamela Gravitt’s home and taking personal items July 28. Bond was set at $25,000. Harold Driskell testified.
  • Jack L. Coleman III, 27, 226 Curdsville Road, two counts of possession of a forged instrument for allegedly passing counterfeit $100 bills July 31. Bond was set at $10,000. Tim Gambrel testified.
  • Louis T. Anderson, 49, 502 Cornishville St., receiving stolen property more than $500 for allegedly having copper wire stolen from Corning Inc. Aug. 21. Bond was set at $5,000. Eldridge testified.
  • Matthew Robert Clay, 22, of Lancaster, receiving stolen property more than $10,000 for allegedly having a tractor owned by Brent Dehart Aug. 9. Bond was set at $5,000. Harrodsburg officer Brian Hislope testified.
  • Steven Eigenmann, 47, 204 E. Factory St., flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind on child support payments. Bond was set at $5,000. Jo Luthe testified.
  • Jason Lemons, 33, of Versailles, flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind on child support payments. Bond was set at $5,000. Melissa Gray testified.
  • Robbie Tatum, 33, 256 Quirks Run Road, flagrant nonsupport for allegedly falling more than $5,000 behind on child support payments. Bond was set at $5,000. Ramona Young testified.
  • Jeffrey D. Osbourne, 42, and Rhonda K. Osbourne, 40, both of 4345 Kennedy Bridge Road, theft of a legend drug for allegedly taking epinephrine and amiodarone from James B. Haggin Hospital June 20. Bond was set at $5,000. Harrodsburg officer Scott Baker testified.
  • Laura E. Wiley, 46, of Salvisa, allegedly trafficking in more than five pounds of marijuana May 1. Bond was set at $10,000. Deputy Scott Elder testified.
  • Arlus Morgan, 29, 323 N. College St., and David Healey, 28, and Heather Ferguson, 26, both of Monfordville, possession of a forged instrument for allegedly passing a counterfeit $100 bill July 20. Bond was set at $10,000. Gambrel testified.
