Dantastic Race winners named
The following teams came out on top at the Dantastic Race Saturday:
First place: “We’re Just That Friendly,” won $500; Ben Bloom, Lori T. Finke, Mark Finke and Susan L. Bloom.
Second place: “Moms on the Run,” won Starry Night Studio session; Christy Wilson, Gwen Ladd, Shawna Stomberger and Veronica D. Crall.
Third place: “K2H2,” won passes to a Lunch with the Arts session; Heather Perkins, Heather Wagner, Kelley Arnold and Krista Ashley Rinehart.
Meetings
Garrard County Fiscal Court — 2 p.m. today. Special meeting agenda items include 2012-13 property tax rate and emergency 2012-13 budget amendment.
Perryville Elementary School Council — 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Corrections
- Former Eastern Kentucky University media supervisor Emerson St. John’s name was incorrect in a story on pages 1 and 6 in Sunday’s newspaper.
- AARP Chapter of Garrard County — Will meet at noon Tuesday at the Kentucky Depot Restaurant in Stanford. Optional meal is responsibility of participant. Members of the National AARP or those 50 and older interested in learning about the group are welcome, including residents of surrounding counties. The location was incorrect in Sunday’s paper.
