Garrard County Public Library events planned

Story Hour — 6 p.m. Tuesday for preschoolers through second-graders; and 10 a.m. Wednesday or 1 p.m. Thursday for 18 months through 5-year-olds.

Paint Lick Book Club — 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Paint Lick Community Arts Center. This month’s book is “Black Heels to Tractor Wheels: "A Love Story” by Ree Drummond.

Veteran’s Representative — 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Wednesday, veterans can meet with Eileen Ward at the library. Call 1-800-928-4838, ext. 326, for more information.

Mystery Book Club — 1 p.m. Wednesday to discuss “The Ballad of Tom Dooley” by Sharyn McCrumb.

Gaming 4 U — 3:30 p.m. Wednesday for teens 13 to 18 years old. Written parental permission is required to attend and play  Wii games.
