Correction

A spokesperson for Junction City Fire Chief Jim King misspoke yesterday in reporting the city had imposed a ban on fireworks there. Chief King said his office does not have such authority and no such ban is in place.

 

Meetings

Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning — 9 a.m. Thursday at the Danville City Hall conference room for technical review staff. 

Danville Board of Education — 6 p.m. Thursday at central office. Special meeting to discuss 2012-13 board meeting schedule and superintendent’s evaluation.

Danville-Boyle County Planning and Zoning Commission — 9 a.m.  July 3, at Danville’s city hall. Items on the agenda include: old business of final plat amendment for Bluegrass Trace that was tabled June 6; new business of consent agendas for Ramey and Highpoint Family Farms, Lancaster Road and site plan for Cheddar’s Casual Cafe on U.S. 127. There also will be a goals and objectives public hearing.

Chair business will include: preliminary plat renewal for Enterprise Center and John Hill Bailey Industrial Park, Corporate Drive; and Walmart plat amendement.

Lincoln County/Cedar Creek Planning Commission — 7 p.m.  July 3 at the Lincoln County Courthouse second floor courtroom. Items on the agenda include: Site plan/drainage approval requested by the Lincoln Cunty Fire Board for property at 6848 U.S. 27 South, Stanford. It was tabled at the February 2011 meeting at the request of Jeff Knouse until conflicts of design were decided by the Lincoln County Fire Board. The property currently is zoned Agricultural-1; and a review of plats approved by Jeff Ralston, attorney, and Rhonda Brown.
