Habitat beginning construction service
HARRODSBURG — Habitat for Humanity Mercer County will have a Service of Blessing for the beginning of construction of the Michael and Katherine Holly Partner Family home. The brief service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Harrodsburg Christian Church Fellowship Hall. Enter the East Office Street door of the church, at the corner of South Main and East Office streets.
Kindergarten registration
Woodlawn Elementary School will have kindergarten registration and screening 8:30 a.m. -noon April 12 for the upcoming school year. Bring two forms for verification of proof of residency (electric bill, water bill, etc.), copy of birth certificate and Kentucky immunization form. The school principal and guidance counselor will be available to answer questions.
