Veterans Day closings
The Boyle County Courthouse will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day. All recycling and convenience centers also will be closed.
Veterans Day breakfast
Perryville Church of God will host a Veterans Day breakfast 9-11 a.m. Saturday. The breakfast will be free to veterans as appreciation for their service to the country. The church is at 209 Lyons Ave., just past the Dollar Store on U.S. 150, Perryville.¿Veterans who plan to attend should call (859) 332-0357 to reserve a spot.
Correction
In an article in Tuesday’s newspaper headlined “Berea seeks Garrard as conduit,”¿it should have said the college, not the county, would be required to cover the costs and any attorneys’ fees if a lawsuit were to arise against the school after this agreement was reached.
