Halloween carnival is today
Junction City is hosting a Halloween carnival 6-8 p.m. today at City Hall, to correspond with the city’s trick or treat times. There will be food, games and candy.
Blood drive set
The Kentucky Blood Center will have a blood drive 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday on the KBC Bloodmobile at Walmart in Danville, 100 Walton Ave.
Church celebrates anniversary
The Rev. Larry D.Weathers Sr., choir and congretation of Vision Church of Holiness Inc., will be the guests for Pastor Sanford Pinkston's sixth year pastoral/church anniversary 7:30 p.m. Friday at Grace Apostolic Church, 340 Legion Drive, Lexington.
