HARRODSBURG — Johnny R. Harris, 90, widower of Alberta June Colvin Harris, died Monday.
Born June 26, 1922, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Ed and Ida Woods Harris. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a retired project manager for IBM and member of Oleika Shrine Temple in Lexington.
Survivors include his daughter,Trina J. Harris Burdine of Lexington; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Glen Schneiders officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday.
