Police blotter for Aug.31-Sept.3

AUGUST 31

 

12:26 a.m., report of a domestic altercation in progress at Locust Street residence; verbal only; arrest made.

1:01 a.m., an intoxicated female has locked herself in a shed on the side of a residence on Citation Drive.

1:38 a.m., there may be trespassers at East Broadway address.

6:16 a.m., report of a light in the back bedroom on Rolling Hills is sparking and smoking; assistance given.

3:52 p.m., caller believes two occupants in a truck are involved in narcotic activity on East Walnut Street; one male under arrest.

8:13 p.m., mother wants to report her mentally handicapped daughter is missing; assistance given.

8:41 p.m., hysterical female called 911 and hung up; call traced through AT&T; officer advised it was from a subject's cell phone at the football stadium and everyone is OK.

9:16 p.m., there is a car parked in the library parking lot and two subjects are laying in the grass and are involved in inappropriate behavior.

9:33 p.m., report of a large dog running loose and growling at some of the children on Shakerpoint Drive.

9:51 p.m., report of driver in a red car on Lexington Road may be intoxicated; arrest made.

10:11 p.m., report of a verbal altercation at Nokomis Street residence over property; assistance given.

10:22 p.m., caller advised  a driver in a black SUV has followed her home flashing its lights and tailgating her; assistance given.

10:27 p.m., social services is requesting an officer check on an infant due to a tip they received that the mother is drinking and doing narcotics and is neglecting the baby; officer advised everyone checked out OK and that the situation is due to a relationship that has gone sour.

10:35 p.m., a male caller advised he had locked himself in a room and he didn't know where he was and requested police assistance; female found the male and saw  he was on the phone and hung it up as soon as she discovered he had called 911; officer advised everything was OK.

11 p.m., report of an assault in progress at West Walnut Street residence; officer advised the combative subject is leaving.
