Police Blotter for Dec. 7-11

DECEMBER 7

1:51 a.m., complaint of a loud party and people in the street on North Fifth Street.
5:52 a.m., father has been unable to contact his daughter on her home or cell phone for the last hour and a half and there is a red vehicle in the driveway; he is requesting police check on her welfare; officer found an open door and located the female.
9:28 a.m., caller wants to speak to an officer about verbal abuse from her mother.
11:08 a.m., a juvenile is advising that the father is armed with a kitchen knife and has attempted to cut his wrist and throat; he was last seen in the bedroom with a rope around his neck; assistance given.
12:52 p.m., citizen is in the police department lobby to report theft of a laptop from Centre College library.
2:13 p.m., caller from Patchen Point Apartments wants advise on getting rid of guests who have overstayed their welcome; assistance given.
4:17 p.m., report of an attempted vehicle break-in at CVS parking lot; the male subject is still there and is walking toward the church; unable to locate subject.
6:35 p.m., report of a verbal altercation in progress between two females in front yard on North Sixth Street.
6:48 p.m., report of criminal mischief to a vehicle and screen door on North Fifth Street and the caller thinks she knows who the suspect is; male is refusing to press charges at this time.
7:32 p.m., report of a suspicious male who has been walking up and down the alley and sitting in yards on Sycamore Street.
7:32 p.m., report of a fight in progress at 303 W; unable to locate fight.
10:33 p.m., complaint of a loud party in an apartment over a business on Main Street downtown with narcotic activity and possible underage drinking.

DECEMBER 8

12:18 a.m., officer was flagged down on Hustonville Road; arrest made.
11:01 a.m., report of a two-vehicle accident on Bluegrass Pike.
11:36 a.m., report of accident on May Boulevard between a car and a delivery truck.
12:21 p.m., two-vehicle accident on West Broadway.
