Police blotter for March 14 and 15

MARCH 14

12:30 a.m., anonymous caller is reporting a suspicious pickup truck parked at the gas pumps at Brookcove and a male is outside with a flashlight; unable to locate subject.

1:16 a.m., caller is requesting an officer check on the welfare of his girlfriend, who is staying at a motel on Ben-Ali Drive; she is visiting a male friend and he doesn’t know his name; caller advised he last heard from his girlfriend a little before 9 p.m. and he hasn’t been able contact her; unable to locate subject.

3:51 a.m., an intoxicated female is in the emergency room causing problems and threatening to leave; the patient has been discharged and is waiting for a ride; arrest made.

4:06 a.m., two suspicious males are walking around vehicles parked at Shaker Point Apartments; they may be trying to gain entry; unable to locate subjects.

7:30 a.m., report of an attempted vehicle break-in by a teenage male on St. Mildred’s Court; subject ran off heading toward Maple Avenue.

10:28 a.m., report of a sign at Salon Jolie’s that may have been stolen overnight.

11:34 a.m., papers served and arrest made at Jennie Rogers Elementary School.

1:02 p.m., person at Good Neighbor Pharmacy has forged a prescription for a controlled substance; arrest made.

2:35 p.m., report of a suspicious subject who appears to be intoxicated at O’Charley’s restaurant; he has been inside the business for two hours with nothing to drink and advised he had just come from the dentist.

3:57 p.m., papers served and arrest made at Daniel Drive address.

5:07 p.m., caller’s brother-in-law came into the East Main Street apartment without permission through a window; when confronted, he took off toward Chase Bank; 5:32 p.m., complainant is at police department to press charges.

9:12 p.m., male shoplifter in custody at Walmart; subject given a citation and released to a friend.

9:20 p.m., arrest made at Ashford Drive residence.

10:19 p.m., report of people in the caller’s neighbor’s hot tub on Woodland Place while the owners are not at home.

10:44 p.m., report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave Reno’s Roadhouse; 10:57 p.m., arrest made.

11:08 p.m., there is a male who has been loitering in the grocery store vestibule at Walmart for several hours; officer is escorting the subject to Shaker Point Apartments.

MARCH 15

1:30 a.m., officers are at Smith Street residence to check on the welfare of possible underage subjects who are drinking.
