Police Blotter from August 3, 4, 5 and 6, 2012

AUGUST 3 

12:31 a.m., officer out with a disturbance on Regency Drive; arrest made.

4:48 a.m., officer picking up items from Centre College security that were found in the road on Walnut Street.

9:19 a.m., report of a burglary occurring overnight at Hometown Clinic on Tenikat Street.

9:46 a.m., two-vehicle accident in front of Burke’s Bakery.

9:59 a.m., two-vehicle accident near Arnold Tower on South Third Street.

10:04 a.m., complaint of a reckless driver in a truck weaving all over Lexington Avenue and crossing the yellow line; the subject has struck a van on Main Street near the courthouse and continued; arrest made.

12:14 p.m., two-vehicle accident on East Walnut Street.

2:22 p.m., report of children playing on the telephone and have called the 911 center at least four times today; officer spoke with the mother and child, phone was taken away.

3:35 p.m., a female has been given temporary custody of children and is at the residence to pick them up; she is also requesting officer’s assistance.

5:43 p.m., female is requesting an officer explain to her nieces and nephews that they cannot open car doors in a moving vehicle; unable to locate subject.

5:49 p.m., female was seen physically abusing a child in the Walmart parking lot.

6 p.m., a male just left a business on Hustonville Road after causing a verbal altercation when they refused to sell him lye; unable to locate subject.

8:01 p.m., two-vehicle accident on South Fourth Street.

8:34 p.m., a physical domestic altercation just occurred at Russell Street residence; arrest made.

8:59 p.m., an intoxicated male who jumped out of a vehicle at St. Mildred’s Court and Main Street has been run over; arrest made.

11:34 p.m., owners of Wind Jammers are requesting to speak to an officer about someone threatening and harassing them; extra patrol is requested; business has been referred to the county attorney for charges.
