Police Blotter from Sept. 11 and 12, 2012

SEPTEMBER 11

12:02 a.m., a male and female are involved in a verbal domestic altercation at East Walnut Street residence.

3:29 a.m., at least four subjects are in a verbal altercation in the Walmart parking lot; arrest made.

8:11 a.m., vehicles at Allen's Service Center were broken into overnight.

8:16 a.m., call about the Boyle County Courthouse; 8:19 a.m., Kentucky State Police notified; incident command center set at Stith Funeral Home; 9:07 a.m., sheriff's department with male subject at Subway on Fourth Street; 10 a.m., building search has begun; 11:12 a.m., en route to the county jail.

11:27 a.m., report of driver of a red car reading the newspaper while driving on West Main Street.

12:40 p.m., two calls were received concerning a maroon car on Ky. 52 where the driver was involved in drug activity; unable to locate.

2:51 p.m., caller is reporting a male is standing by in the parking lot at Kings Corner Pawn, where the door is open, but no one was inside; assistance given.

3:41 p.m., verbal altercation just occurred between a 15-year-old male and an adult female.

4:55 p.m., a female who may be intoxicated is going door-to-door in the West Lexington Avenue area; officer advised that the subject checked out OK and told her that the neighbors do not want her in the area.

5:23 p.m., report of a hit and run that just occurred between a van and a car; the caller witnessed the drivers chasing each other and were last seen at Hustonville Road and Second Street.

5:37 p.m., caller has followed a vehicle that almost hit her kids; assistance given.

6:14 p.m., verbal domestic altercation in progress at Longview Drive residence; male has left the scene; female was advised of her options and she denied all assistance.

7:16 p.m., a suspicious vehicle has pulled around behind a vacant house on Chestnut Street; officers spoke with a neighbor, who said she had permission to park there temporarily.

8:01 p.m., request to check area across from dispatch for steam and smoke at Hustonville Road and Second Street; officer advised it was a campfire for roasting marshmallows.

8:34 p.m., a male is being disruptive and refusing to leave a DUI meeting at West Walnut Street; assistance given.

8:53 p.m., caller advised his 15-year-old son didn't come home from school today and they just saw him run into the city parking garage; assistance given; 9:12 p.m., juvenile was turned over to the custody of his parents.

11:49 p.m., caller advised drivers in three vehicles were attempting to run him off the road; they then blocked him in and struck his vehicle with their fists then fled toward Constitution Square; 12:02 a.m., officers out with the suspects' vehicles at Walmart.
