BURGIN — An arrest was made following a break-in on Saturday. Robert Fairchild, 30, of Harrodsburg, was arrested when he broke into the residence belonging to Marvin Mullins, who also was arrested for manufacturing meth.
According to Burgin Police Chief Jim Caldwell, Fairchild broke into Mullins’ garage while Mullins was being processed by the police at the Boyle County Detention Center. Caldwell drove back by the Mullins resident “to check on the place” and found Fairchild there attempting to steal tools and other small items.
Fairchild attempted to flee and was taken at gunpoint. He is lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center.
