The Heart of Danville Main Street Program will sponsor “Shamrock Shenanigans: A Retail and Restaurant Event” on Friday and Saturday in downtown Danville.
Participating businesses will be designated with a sidewalk chalk shamrock and green balloons.
Participating businesses include: 303W, A&L Accessories, A Lasting Impression, Beer Engine, Bella Dedans Photography, Bluegrass Pizza & Pub, Carbon, Carol’s Bridal & Gifts, Clothes Horse, Community Arts Center gift shop, Danville Bike & Footwear, Derby Shoppe & Raggs, Genesis Salon (Friday only), The Hub Coffee House and Cafe, Karamel Kreations, Lily Manor Day Spa, Maple Tree Gallery, Mermaids, Muddy Creek Primitives, Pescara, Thoroughbred Threads, and V the Market.
Shamrock Shenanigans will coincide with the Sister Cities annual Irish Celebration 7-9 p.m. Friday at Pioneer Playhouse, and the Danville Rotary International Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Chowan Hall on the Centre College campus. Tickets for the Sister Cities celebration are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. For a $50 sponsorship, the entire family can attend.
